Showing my Values | Women’s

Generative AI creeping into every nook and cranny makes me crave a resurgence in the analog era. Some are calling it the analog renaissance.

Creating without artificial aid, achieving something on our own merit, is immensely satisfying. Sometimes the process is more valuable, regardless of the imperfect results.

“Showing my Values” is a pen and ink pun intended as a stance for traditional art, originality, authentic authorship and creativity.

This values scale artwork was inked by hand with a Hunt 512 nib and Super Black India Ink made by Speedball.

Values:

• lightness or darkness of a shaded element in a drawing,
• judgment of worth or usefulness of something,
• someone’s principles.
