Love Chloe’s work. I first come upon her tutorials on YouTube, and when I found that she had courses on Udemy, it was a no-brainer. The best teacher I have found so far. If there are any more courses coming, you can count me in.

I follow Chloe on YouTube and was delighted to see a class here on Skillshare. The professional level of instruction far surpasses most content, and it is clear how much effort was put into the lessons, the resources, and the overall production value. As a painter, I find I don’t quite have the patience for inking, but perhaps a piece on a smaller scale will encourage me to submit a project. Whether you ever ink yourself, you will nonetheless learn oodles about art in general from this superior class.
Exceeded my expectations! This class is the most comprehensive pen and ink class I’ve seen. The examples and exercises were fantastic, and all the information took away the fear of getting started with this unique form of art.
Amazing class- I love Chloe’s style of teaching and her video content. Really made me think about tone and line use in a way I hadn’t done before. Great class for any level, but I marked it as intermediate; above only because it’s a serious lesson, and perhaps you would benefit from having done some drawing before, but beginners would enjoy this class too.
Chloe explains everything nicely and clearly. I’ve wanted to expand my artwork into pen and ink for a while now and her instruction has given me clear steps for getting started. Great job!
For anyone who struggles with studying the works of others or who may need guidance on what to improve upon in their personal pieces, this class is quite a treat. I was able to not only improve my observation skills, but was also guided to see what to work on moving forward. I recommend that you have at least an understanding of fundamentals going in, but this class is a great tool for most people who desire a walk-through on self-critique, goal setting, and the study of masters.
